What is already connected in your org

Eleven things are connected and not one of them is a credential anybody had to go and get. What that means, and what it means about the seven workflows that are drafts.

β€œWhat does it plug into?” is usually the second question a client asks and always the one that decides the timeline. The honest answer starts with what is already there, so open your org's integrations and count.

Read the categories rather than the count. Models, speech in and speech out, storage, email. That is the machinery that makes an agent able to think, talk and send β€” and every one of them arrived with the platform. Nobody at this business fetched a single one of those credentials.

This is a better opening line than any feature. β€œBefore you give us anything at all, your org already answers questions, scores leads, writes messages and sends email.” A client who expected a two-month integration project has just had their timeline moved, and you have not promised anything yet.

And what is not connected

There are 67 integrations available and 11 connected. The gap is not random: every single thing a client would have to supply themselves is missing.

Four things β€” and each of them belongs to the client, not to us.

A WhatsApp business number

So this cannot happen
Nothing can be answered or sent on WhatsApp

A telephony number

So this cannot happen
Nothing can place or take a call

A calendar connection

So this cannot happen
Nothing can put a meeting in anybody's diary

An ad account

So this cannot happen
Nothing can report a conversion back to where the lead came from

Which is exactly why seven workflows are drafts

You have already met this fact from the other side. In Draft and active: which workflows are actually running you counted 7 finished workflows waiting on a credential and 5 waiting on nobody at all. Those 7 are waiting on the four rows in the table above.

Say it in a client meeting in that order and it lands very differently from a list of features: the automation is built, and it starts working on the day you give us the number you already own.

Two things worth knowing before you promise a date

  • Connected is not the same as configured. An integration is a credential; a workflow still has to be pointed at it and switched on. Both are minutes of work, but they are two separate minutes.
  • Some of these are ours and some are theirs, permanently. The model provider stays with the platform. The WhatsApp number belongs to the client's business, is billed to them, and follows them if they ever leave. That distinction matters commercially and it is worth being straight about it early.

Change one thing β€” count them yourself

  1. Open your org's integrations and list what is connected. Group them the way the screen does.
  2. For each one, say out loud whether it came with the platform or whether somebody had to fetch it. You should get 11 of the first and none of the second.
  3. Now open the full list of what is available and find the four from the table above. Do not connect anything.
  4. Write the one sentence you would open a client meeting with, using only what you just counted.

Try it

  1. Pick a client you actually have and work out which of the four they could hand over this afternoon. That is your go-live order.
  2. Find something in the available list that surprises you, and decide whether you would ever mention it in a first meeting. Most of the 67 should be a no.

Next: API keys and OAuth: who has to click β€” because the four things a client has to supply do not all cost the same, and the difference is not technical.
